It has lags, many bugs and its not useful at all.

This app is highly ineffective and based on poor design. The accent examples are robotic, not actual human speaking. I returned for a refund within minutes of purchasing. This app should not be sold.

For $6.99 all you get are long lists of words based on “frequency” but with no attention to the best way to present material to language learners. Audio clips are very short, sometimes inconsistent in the vowels modeled in words, sometimes using a computerized voice, and at times missing. With little to no description on how to pronounce these sounds, no chances to practice these words in sentences, and no practice in other pronunciation or accent features (such as word stress, phrase stress, rhythm, and intonation), it is doubtful that this app will help learners to acquire a “beautiful accent.” For the full posting, please see my blog “Today’s English in the World.” DJ Kaiser, PhD

Not happy at all with my purchase. The first day of purchased, July 15, 2015 for $9.99. the app was working well & havent practice since then. Today, when I opened the app to practice there was no sound, except for the instruction. I checked the volume on my device its up. I even check for software update its up to date iOS 8.4 on my iPad. I search Google how to fix App that stops working, followed all instructions, turn off device, delete app & reload again but to no avail. Ive sent an email regarding the problem to this App & at the same time writing this review. I really like this App and would have rate it higher but I was just frustrated and disappointed.

This app does not seem to respond normally to touch commands. I purchased this app to help a non-native fluent English speaker. The pronunciations are synthesized and unclear. I do not consider it useful in any way and would return it if I could.

So helpful for sounding more professional at work.

I have been using this app for two months now and I am very pleased with the results. The app is also constantly updated with new features and exercises.

I have recommended this app to many of my friends - my accent has changed completely, for the better!

Lots of exercises, I especially like that I can record my own pronunciation and compare it with the correct one.

Before using this app I had a very thick German accent. When I would speak to patients they had a difficult time understanding me. After using this app I find that it is much easier to communicate effectively. I would recommend this app to anyone who finds that other people cannot understand them. 5 stars.

I have practiced the exercises suggested here and I believe it’s working. It was easy to detect my own mistakes with the pre-recorded audio for Spanish speakers and because I can also record and listen to my own voice. I wish there were additional types of games, but I see that the app is getting updated often so maybe they’ll add more.

Wish I could get a refund

I have a Chinese accent which makes it difficult for me to communicate well. This app has truly helped me. At first I found it a bit complicated, but after rounds of vocal exercises I finally made progress.
